Friday Night Flicks: 500 Years of Female Portraits in Western Art

Since I spent Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning helping to install an art exhibition, and the works in the show were made by women (Monique Martin and myself), I thought I would show a video of women in art.

The link was originally sent to me in an email on April 14, 2008 and is probably the first YouTube video I ever saw. I suspect the use of an ‘inbetweening‘ (or ‘tweening’) computer program, but even then an enormous amount of work would be required for the exceptionally smooth transitions.

Happy weekend everyone.

About Byopia Press

I have been working in the book arts field for more than twenty years, and operating Byopia Press with my husband David since the late 1990s. I began producing artist's books and altered books in 2004.
