The David Kindersley Centenary Walk

On April 27th in my post from Cambridge, I mentioned doing the Kindersley Centenary Walk and promised to post more after returning home. Here are some of the photos David took as we followed the guide map around Cambridge. We started at the Fitzwilliam Museum display.

The Corpus Clock is quite remarkable in its own right. Here is a short video about it.

You can also read more about it here.

Some of the above works were designed/carved by Kindersley himself. Some were done by the Cardozo Kindersley Workshop which continues to operate under his widow’s direction. Here are a couple of images taken of the workshop’s exterior.

There is a video of the tour narrated by Lida Cardozo Kindersley here and you can find more information on David Kindersley here and on the Cardozo Kindersley Workshop website.
