Friday Night Flicks: The Little Prince — Stop Motion Animation

Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is one of my favourite books. I doubt if I would like the 2015 movie of the same name. A frame story about a little girl and an elderly aviator has been introduced so that the audience can be told which lessons are to be learned. I might like the re-telling of the original story within the movie, especially as it is done in stop motion with paper sets and costumes.

Tonight’s video is a behind-the-scenes look at puppets, props, and a little bit of process from the stop motion portion of the movie.

Perhaps you can find a copy of The Little Prince to read (or possibly, re-read) this weekend.
