I must have folded dozens of paper fortune tellers (“cootie catchers”) when I was a child. I have created a number as an adult, and posted this version on November 3, 2019. The asterisk-based designs on the outer layer look a bit like snowflakes, so I thought it would be suitable for this year’s Byopia Press Advent Calendar.

This is the layout for the inside of the fortune teller so you can read all its answers.
If you wish to make your own copy of the fortune teller, download the Fluxus fortune teller, and print it out. It is designed for 8.5 inch wide paper so you will need to scale to fit if printing on A4. Instructions for folding (and two other fortune tellers) can be found here.

If you have someone in your house who likes bad jokes, you might want to make one of the seasonal fortune tellers from Bren Did. I have only included the fortune tellers in the printable files since you can find folding instructions via the link at the end of the previous paragraph.
